As it is known, in the process of teaching / learning / evaluating foreign languages, the problem of linguistic interference is quite common. This difficulty often arises when a foreign language is studied in "artificial" conditions (in the country of origin of the learner), compared to aquiring a foreign language into an authentic context (when the learner moves to the area where that foriegn language to him is at the level of national circulation). Linguistic interference is conditioned both by structural factors of the two languages (mother tongue and foreign language) as well as by extralinguistic circumstances, that is to say psycholinguistic, didactic and sociolinguistic. In this article we will try to analyze some conditions and causes of this unfavorable overlapping process. |
