Our internal resources that are often insufficiently known, represent our greatest wealth. Their knowledge and their activation allows us to develop the potential that each of us has. People set targets, anticipate the consequences of their own actions and define the path towards achieving expected results. Such a perspective offers direction, coherence and a sense of life. People’s beliefs about the efficiency to control the events with impact on their life determine the choices made, the aspirations, the level of efforts and perseverance, the optimism, the exposure to stress and depression as well as the performance in activity. The scope and the objectives of this article are based on the study of the ways our inner resources help us to undertake responsibilities, to focus on activities necessary to achieve the targets, to observe how wide is this problem addressed to and to identify new possibilities of efficient development.
