Rezumat | ||||||
The financial crisis and the pandemic have introduced crucial changes in the European economy. Europe is facing problems with a single view of ways to overcome the difficulties. The development of information and communication technologies (ICT) is essential for Europe's competitiveness in the increasingly digital global economy. More than € 20 billion from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is available for investment in ICT in the 2014-2020 funding period. This investment is needed to meet the Commission's European target for the digital age. Through its new industrial strategy, Europe aims to ensure the health of European companies so that they can achieve their ambitions and face global competition. |
