The paper aims to treat good governance and the measurement of its quality as a performance accelerator in the realm of regional construction. At the regional level the evaluation systems and methodologies can be successfully implemented within its institutional and civic framework only based on the respect of democratic values, the administrative and financial descentralization, as well as the promotion of partneships and participative processes in order to enhance the sustainable human and economic development of the territories, since the competitive advantage relies now on the joint capacity to improve the indicators of governance efficiency |
