The United States of America is the promoter of performance management implementation in public administration and is characterized by not only assessing individual performance but also evaluating collective and organizational performance and has established a strong culture of performance through effective performance management processes that are designed to promote managerial decision-making, according to real data, to measure progress towards specific objectives, in line with the legislative framework. The US performance appraisal process is an innovative one that harnesses the human potential and appreciates its competence and effectiveness, has tools to maintain and motivate qualified staff. |
