Sovereignty is one of the features of state power which is supreme in relation to any other internal social power and independent to the power of anyother state or international body. However there are several approaches to the concept of sovereignty: sovereignty of thepeople, nationalsovereigntyandthesovereignty of the state power. These concepts are often confused. That is why in this article we will try to make a distinction between them. |
