The political discourse is presented in a socio-political context, as a reaction to a concrete and dynamic reality. Therefore, this type of discourse has an eventful character, as a direct reaction to the current political situation, and is also an incentive for the future events and phenomena. At the same time, the political discourse acquires a greater capacity of influence if it is stated in a concrete decor, in front of an auditorium and if it is complemented by some elements of a non-verbal communication: mimicry, gestures, posture, attitudes etc.
The power of the discourse will never be completely diminished as the mankind lives in a speaking universe having a determining role in the cultural and social shaping of the human beings. |
