Rezumat

Data concerning the latest main research results in the field of the chemistry of coordination compounds, fine organic synthesis, natural products chemistry, physico-chemical analysis, quantum chemistry and ecological chemistry are presented. A detailed account both on basic research and applied investigation is given: - coordination compounds with various useful properties: polynuclear compounds as molecular magnets, catalysts of technological and biotechnological processes, agents for anticorrosive coating and protection of metals; - coordination combinations with anticancer, antiviral, antibacterial, antidote properties; plant growth regulators; - nanoparticles with the perspective use as substituents of classical TiO2 semiconductor in Gratzel cells; - odorant products, aromatizers and biologically active products based on natural terpenes, used in tobacco processing, perfumery, medicine; - methods of obtaining organic substances with sedative, anti-HIV-1, anti-mycotic effects; compounds with significant tuberculostatic activity; - procedures of obtaining and regenerating activated carbons from vegetal waste; medicinal preparations on the basis of activated carbons, catalysts and adsorbents for the purification of ground and surface waters; - new functionalized ionic liquids as renewable catalysts for chemoselective redox processes; - new products prepared from grape seed for human and veterinary medicine and agriculture, ENOXIL-M and ENOXIL-A and dermatological cream based on Enoxil product; - technologies for hydrogen sulfide removing from groundwater and divalent iron and manganese ions treatment of depth water; - green technology for plastic waste recycling for obtaining the new products; - efficient methods of dosing heavy metals (Pb, Cu, Cd, Fe, Ni, Zn, and Mo) in foodstuffs and environmental objects; - development and use of biofuel mixtures with optimal composition based on physicochemical modeling. The collaboration of our scientists with their collegues from abroad is considered. Information regarding the scientific schools of our institute, its guidance and laboratory’s leaders is presented. The relationship of the institute with higher schools, as well as training of young researchers is presented.
