ECHR doesn’t automatically apply overseas, which means that the applicants who claim the violation of their fundamental rights and freedoms might avail themselves of the protection offered by the former only under certain circumstances. In his thesis, the author attempted to identify these circumstances, the conditions and limitations of the extraterritorial application of ECHR, with due regard given to the relevant reasonings found in the jurisprudence of the European Court. |
