This bachelor thesis addresses the topic of the frescoes at the Dorohoi church (Romania) in the history of the post-byzantine art from south-eastern Europe. The purpose of this work tends to be double-sided: to describe and analyze the visual art at the St. Nicholas church in Dorohoi and also to present it as a part of a broader artistical context that spans from Kastoria (Greece) to Northern Moldova. |
