Communication competence is the key indicator of the success of the didactic discourse and marks the level of performance that ensures the efficiency of message transmission and reception. The ultimate goal of pedagogical communication is to ensure the communicative feedback in the teacher-student relationship. Assertiveness in communication lies in the ability to express our feelings, thoughts and desires, without harming someone or violating somebody’s rights and is not a character or personality traits. It’s a type of social behavior that is appropriated and can be acquired through learning. In this sense, the assertion of assertive communication got a such primary importance to the teaching staff. |
