The article presents the role of government in the Republic of Moldova in promoting of road safety as an aspect of sustainable development. There are shown the basic principles and actions of ensuring road safety as action of cooperation and coordination between decision factors, aimed at ensuring/ guaranteeing the safety of all road users. There are analyzed several pieces of legislation in this field, focusing on the powers/skills, monitoring/surveillance and sanctions. |
