The content of this article discusses the issue of social justice, which is currently at the center of the concern for the contemporary philosophy. The analysis of social justice is considered by taking into account the multiple approaches to this subject, which have been developed during the recent years with the main aim to understand the society where we live, the inner human essence by reference to the current social organization´s nature, the changes and transformations that we are witnessing through the exposure to the contemporary world´s challenges, assessing the chances of human survival, the consequences and the rationale of a social justice through the lens of critical analyses of the political and legal philosophy, but also through the use of the pragmatic dimension
