Delimitation of diverse and sometimes divergent field of perceptions towards bioethics requires, on the one hand, a presentation of views that form the historical foundation of bioethics, and on the other hand, the reasons and premises that led to the appearance of bioethics. Innovatory reflection of the problems caused by biotechnological intervention in life, from anthropoecological global crisis, bioethics causes revaluation of values, formulating and promoting new principles, proposing solutions for new ethical aspects, placing classical moral convictions in the archaic group, regardless humanity neither known or experienced them. Starting from the interrogations on the admissibility in terms of moral values, what has become possible with the help of biotechnology, in bioethics field are animated discussions on the value of life and its limits, about body and its commercialization, the person and its rights etc. Often the debates over moral dilemmas in bioethics are expressed from several important aspects - medical, legal, religious and sociophilosophical, which keeps the interdisciplinary nature of bioethics. From this point of view, we propose an analysis of the patristic morality what is found in bioethics reassessed and a foundation of Christian landmarks diminished and forgotten by society throughout history. |
