Rezumat

Within the context of 80-s (XX century) Eugen Cioclea’s poetry substencially differs from so-called „the third eye” poetry. Cioclea is an anticalophyllic writer. His writings contrast to arcadic poetic space of mythopoets of 70-s., where the main character, plowman (peasant), is considered as a „poetic creature”. Eugen Cioclea, „enfant terrible” of poetry, does not idealizes this image as his colleagues do. Eugen Cioclea’s poetry is a provocative one. It has an eclectic nature, combining features of modernism and of „new poetry”. Cioclea’s poetic language is transparent and deliberately free of metaphors and trops. He prefers to use colloquial discourse. Differently from poets belonging to 70-s generation, he doesn’t follow the way of sophisticated poetry of Nichita Stănescu sau Marin Sorescu. His ironic poetic discourse is anti-mioritic. He acts as a destroyer of values and arcadic poetry.
