Practical complementarity, that is a rational collaboration between language linguistics, speech linguistics and text linguistics, however, depends on the linguists’ position in conceptualizing that the same phenomenon could be interpreted and, as a consequence, translated from different angles and at different levels. The functional-structural linguistics that matches the language, transformational-generative grammar that corresponds to the speech and text languistics that matches the text can help to interpret the phenomenon of language for both linguistic research and translation.
