A frequent change of political regimes in the geo-historical space of the Republic of Moldova exposed the population of the region to abuses and dictates of new authorities. During the half-century of soviet power existence on the territory of Moldova, in political and ideological processes, three generations of local inhabitants were submitted to the totalitarian regime. If the first generation accepted the regime under the terror and violent change in its world conception, the next two became the object of formation of “homo sovieticus” from the very beginning. Namely these two generations represent the “material” from which a democratic society is being “built” in our country. Today the representatives of these two generations are involved in the process of power struggle in all its aspects, while being genetically bearers of communist soviet values, regardless of the fact they recognize it or not.
