Gestiunea colectivă prezintă un instrument eficient pentru exercitarea drepturilor de autor. În acest sens, OGC-urile joacă un rol esenţial şi sunt de o maximă utilitate atât pentru autorii/ creatorii de opere, cât şi pentru utilizatorii acestora.Importanţa gestionării colective i-a determinat pe legiuitorii din Republica Moldova să acorde toată atenţia acestui aspect al protecţiei proprietăţii intelectuale în procesul elaborării legislaţiei privind dreptul de autor şi drepturile conexe.

Collective administration presents an effective tool for the exercise of copyrights. To this end, OCAs play a key role and have a maximum benefit for both authors/creators of works and their users. The importance of collective administration prompted legislators in the Republic of Moldova to pay much attention to this aspect of intellectual property protection in the process of drafting the legislation on copyright and related rights.
