Rezumat

Dioximates of cobalt(III) with the composition [CoA(L_H)2X] [A = H2O, NH3, C6H5NH2, C5H5N; X = Cl, Br; L = H3CC(NOH)C(NOH)H, H3CC(NOH)C(NOH)CH3, C6H5C(NOH)C(NOH)C6H5, (CH2)4(CNOH)2] react in methanol in the presence of sodium borohydride with stannous chloride or bromide to give intermetallic complexes [CoA(L_H)SnX3] · n CH3OH (n = 1-3). In all the synthesized compounds two dioximate fragments lie in the same plane, while water or amines are presumably located trans to each other. Thermolysis of these substances involves consequtive loss of methanol of crystallization (75-100°C), deamination (175-230°C), and complete thermal decomposition (250-400°C).
