The article deals with the current issues of cases of health disorders in school-age children. Negative trends in the growth of the incidence of children in the learning process increase the urgency of the problems of protecting the health of students. The author considered the factors and conditions that determine the student’s health, school risk factors and the introduction of health-saving technologies into the educational process. The most important goal of introducing health-saving educational technologies into the educational process is the formation of a culture of health. It is precisely on this that the efforts of the school and the family should be largely directed, taking into account the priority in this issue of upbringing over teaching.
