Rezumat

Grape is one of the most produced and economically important crops globally. Today, there are more than 5000 varieties being grown that were used by people for their desirable traits emerged by natural and artificial selections. Grapevine breeding still takes the advantages of selection studies, using it a preliminary study to discriminate existing genetic richness. This study evaluated some commonly grown grape varieties of Kayadibi village in Ankara, Türkiye. In this regard, ten grape genotypes were selected from the region and were analyzed in terms some bunch and berry morphometrics as well as some physicochemical and color properties. Results showed that bunch weight is the most distinctive trait (CV=46.81%) in the population and the best indicator for genotype distinction. On the contrary, pH was the worst trait for genotype distinction with a coefficient of variation of 3.16%. Correlation analysis indicated that dimensional characteristics and weights were in a positive relationship. This study will be a guide for the upcoming studies in the territory.
