Rezumat | ||||||
The principle „unconditional surrender” had come into use during
the U.S.A. Civil War, but it was included in the international law only during
the Second World War. It lay at the basis of conclusion of the trust
with Axis countries. Therefore, the Allies tied to stop militarism, revenge
and the starting of a new world war. However, the outcome was different
– the war was prolonged, the independence and sovereignty of the enemy
countries was put in danger, the communism came to the Central and
East Europe, the American nuclear weapon was tested in Japan which
resulted in thousands of dead and wounded persons. |
