This study is devoted to theoretical and conceptual study of European political values. It is analyzed the interconnection between culture and political power. In social and political practice the values are key milestones in shaping of political action. According to political axiology, the value is defined as a social relation expressing appreciation of facts given to the needs and ideals of human community. Socio-political and moral values plays an important role in the political process. The main European values are: unity, equality, freedom, rule of law, preservation of national traditions, tolerance and pluralism. European values are found largely in the general human values and are taken by the Republic of Moldova who aspires to become a truly European state where the values are perceived and treated in the fullest sense of the word values.
