It is an homage offered to the academician Mihail Dolgan, an eminent literary critic, professor, and a poet with the occasion of the 70 anniversary. Mihail Dolgan is the author of at least 50 books – individual monographs, collective exegeses, historical treaties of literature, collection of scientifi cally articles, school books, methodical-didactical guidelines, scientifically-popular works, anthologies, dictionaries, encyclopedias etc. and more than 900 studies, articles, and literal chronics. His interests and vocation are focused on the fundamental themes and problems, as well as on integration, revaluation, of the postwar literature from the Republic of Moldova and Romania; development trends of the main literary genre; artistic-stylistic orientation of the literary process in the post-war period; civic conscience and ars poetica; the evolution and methodology of the current literary critics; technique of teaching of the literature in schools etc.
