Rezumat

In English language educational practice, there are at least five concepts in the field of ENF, which differ in both meaning and applicability; in French - three; in Russian literature - the same three notions. In the Romanian literature, specialists also operate with a wide range of notions, which are often opposed: extracurricular, co-curricular, extra didactic activities, complementary education, etc. To introduce a note of clarity, we aim to analyze the NFE models, practiced in a number of national education systems: UK, USA, Australia, Singapore, Sweden, Spain and France. In this regard, the main parameters of non-formal education of students will be examined: coverage, institutional structure, regulation and content standardization.
