In this study, a part of road M21 within the STA 1399+00 - STA 1443+00 has been investigated. The route is crossing the Codri border and passes within the Transnitrian elevation through a series of local watersheds in the basin of rivers Ichel, Reut and unnamed tributaries. This determines the complexity of the geomorphological conditions and the need for a significant number of embankments with height from 3 ...6 m to 15 ... 20 m, and recesses of 6 ... 20 m deep or more.Based on the research results, a scheme of potentially dangerous sites was made, with their brief descriptions and recommendations to ensure long-term stability of the slopes recesses. |
