The status of consumers on the market of petroleum products in the Republic of Moldova is unconditionally related to Law no. 461/2001 on the market of petroleum products, including art. 126 of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, which stipulates that the economy of the Republic of Moldova is a market economy, socially oriented, based on private property and public property, engaged in free competition. In this context, the state must ensure the freedom of trade and entrepreneurial activity, the protection of fair competition, the creation of a favorable framework for the capitalization of all factors of production, but also the inviolability of investments of individuals and legal entities, including foreigners. However, the market economy is an economic system in which decisions concerning the production and marketing of goods and / or services are based on the ratio between supply and demand, which, in the end, determines the prices for those goods and services. |
