The problem of inflation in the market economy, etiology, the forms and types, consequences and causes, represent the research object of the present article. In doctrines there are many opinions about the nature and importance of inflation. After a thorough analysis of the doctrinaire opinions of much interest in this problem, the author arrives at conclusions, that inflation was and is the biggest economic enemy, inflation is bull market, this phenomenon affects the society and is typical in our days, especially in the depressions of economic market, the state is the principal element of this struggle for prevention and control of inflation.
