Rezumat

Presently the information protection issues relevance has increased particularly due to a sharp increase of the role and importance of information in the life of modern society development as a whole and economics in particular. It is already obvious that information has become a milestone of the economic development nowadays. Information turns out to become the same strategic commodity like, for example, useful minerals. A wide use of information technologies has caused the problem of information security in the development-atomized systems, of keep and submission of confidential information. A new type of law infringement - cyber crime - has spread widely. It is worth to mention that the present European legislation on information is still at the development stage; for this reason much work should be accomplished to eliminate the shortcomings and defects. The legal protection of information provision depends on the type and character of the information carriers. Electronic form of the information submission promotes distinctly to a possibility of distant interception of the information without any visual transfer of material objects. Despite extensive spreading of cyber crime, i.e. crimes in the informational sphere committed through use of the computer technologies means, the laws on cyber crime that are adopted in several countries all over the world have not been coordinated yet. Moreover, even a common definition for cyber crimes is absent presently.
