For the basin of the Kubolta River, one of the middle rivers of Moldova, data on landslides were obtained, which made it possible to conduct spatial modeling of the conditions for their development using GIS technologies. Geological and geomorphological models, as well as a digital elevation model represent the resulting information layers. With their help, it was possible to identify patterns of manifestation of the landslide process in the basin. Three types of landslides were distinguished according to the degree of manifestation activity and 4 - according to the mechanism of movement, some measures were proposed to stabilize them, depending on the mechanism.
