Rezumat

One of the main laws of agriculture is the restitution of nutrients extracted from the soil with the harvests obtained and the compensation of their non-productive losses in order to maintain soil fertility at a satisfactory level and with a balanced balance of nutrients. The paper presents the results of the testing of organogenic waste from the production of alcoholic beverages: wine lees and vinasses (waste from wineries) and grain borage (waste from ethyl alcohol production enterprises). The aim of the given work was to demonstrate the beneficial action of the above-mentioned organogenic wastes on accessible potassium reserves and its mobilization in the soil. It was shown that by calculating the balance of exchangeable potassium in eleven years the unfertilized soil lost annually 62 kg/ha of potassium. The application of wine waste during this period reduced the annual potassium losses by 314-652 kg/ha respectively. It was established that the application of cereal borage compensated the annual losses by 238-529 kg/ha respectively, while the soil in the reference variant lost 103 kg/ha of potassium annually. We mention that at crop level the exchangeable potassium balance at cereal borage application remains balanced and positive, respectively: autumn wheat 245-529, sunflower 195-486, grain maize 282-587 and grain soybean 257-560 kg/ha, with a deficit of 68-120 kg/ha potassium.
