At the celebration of 16 years of independence the Republic of Moldova meets, as well as other ex Soviet states, a problem of a “frozen” conflict on its territory. Today it is frequently mentioned about the applicability of “Kosovo” solution to such conflicts, including the transnistrean one. But the origins of such conflicts are different. Kosovo conflict is an international one, but the transnistrean conflict has a political nature. The solution of Kosovo crisis has to be found in the negotiations, it has to guarantee the territorial integrity of Serbia, giving to kosovarians a veritable autonomy. And what is more, after the conclusion of a treaty which would provide the future statute of Kosovo, it would be necessary to have a long term for reconciliation of Albanians with Serbs. The law cannot make miracles from that on. The good will, the mutual excuses, the willing to live together peacefully will depend on everyone and on every person in case.
