The authors have proposed the directions of investigation once they carried out a research of political corruption phenomenon as a form of political crime, in this case, the factors that generate such negative social phenomenon and its manifestations in public areas, administrative, economically and politically. They used the arguments which come to prove how this phenomenon is perceived in society, alleging causes and conditions that contribute to such perception and tolerance of the phenomenon in question. After analyzing empirical and theoretical critical the characteristics of phenomena have been identified, which allowed the definition of the concept of political corruption and advance solutions to be established, that would contribute to the social control of the phenomenon investigated.
