The modern state fulfills a number of economic functions, which are related to ensuring the necessary conditions for carrying out the normal economic and social activity, referring to the diminution of the inequality of income distribution in society, the social protection of the population, etc. The volume and variety of functions performed by the state depend on a number of factors such as the dominant economic doctrine, government policy, level of economic development, etc. Regardless of the respective factors and the level of its involvement in economic activity, the state needs financial resources to perform its functions.All the state's financial resources form public finances, and that part of public finances that are managed by the central public administration is part of the state budget. |
