Background. The medical disciplines present a wide universe of knowledge, dedicating studies to the human body and maintaining health. Medical science is based on a multitude of related sciences: anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, radiology, cardiology, pediatrics, rheumatology, surgery, etc. Objective of the study. Highlighting scientific opinions about the importance of medical disciplines in the training of future doctors, but also in continuing medical education. Material and Methods. The study was based on the descriptive-analytical method. Object of study served - scientific articles selected from the Google search engine (preferably chosen from the articles in ResearchGate and Google Scholar). 8 thematic articles were processed. Results. Medicine was built gradually, with theories and hypotheses discovered by the great scientists of medicine, by accumulating knowledge about possible disorders in the human body and diseases that may occur. Formation of several branches: etiology (study of the causes that favor the appearance of disorders and diseases), pathology (analysis of clinical manifestations and effects on the body), diagnosis (identification of problems), therapy (treatment of problems in order to heal the body) or prophylaxis (prevention actions of diseases), says the basis of medical disciplinary research. Conclusion. Medicine is an extremely vast territory, in which new discoveries are numerous, and each discipline is important in continuous medical development. Studying and knowing the disciplines in part, helps to create the complete picture of the disease and the treatment of the patient |
