Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova must be amended so that it provides that all electric vehicles (not just trams and trolleybuses) may be the material object or means of committing the offenses provided for in 142, 1921, 264, 2641, 2642, 265 and 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova. Criminal law must be adapted to technical progress and anticipate its effects. That is why art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova must contain an implicit reference to electric vehicles. Such an amendment is also important to ensure the harmonization of the legislation of the Republic of Moldova with the legislation of the European Union and to implement the Association Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union. |
