Libertarianism is a politico-philosophical doctrine and a movement that supports freedom as a basic principle. Libertarians try to maximize autonomy and political freedom, freedom of choice, individualism, voluntary associations, and share a skepticism of authority and state power. Different schools of libertarian thought offer a range of views on the legitimate functions of state power and are often for restricting or dissolving coercive social institutions. Different categories have been used to distinguish different forms of libertarianism. Usually, there are two major groups: right-wing libertarianism and left-wing libertarianism. The right is just a parasite based on the ideas of classical liberal doctrine and because it hides behind goals incompatible with reality, it has no future |
