Currently Moldova is oriented towards european integration, and in this regard, a special role lies with social skills, significant for each person. The analysis of theoretical sources denote that the country’s future path depends more and more of persons, of their skills, especially of the social ones, and less of level of technological progress and economic growth. Respectively, the need to develop an integral personality, able to show constructive behaviors in certain situations, and to be able to face with the current economical and social challenges, became more actual. The present article outlines the ideas that highlights the role of social skills for current educational process, directed towards developing a knowledge-based society.
