This paper is devoted to studying the interdependence of the economic, political and social
processes in the Republic of Moldova and the influence of certain socio-demographic
characteristics and personal training guidelines on social and political of the population.
The article is composed based on the results of the scientific study, undertaken by the
Association of Sociology and Demography of the Republic of Moldova in September 2008 on a
selection of the national representative (on the 1586 respondents in 88 municipalities of the
margin of error does not exceed 2.6%) and is dedicated to the legitimate radical transformation
of the market and democratic development processes. The authors have assembled a rich
empirical material, designed to characterize the social situation of what created the new
independent states after the disintegration of the USSR.
