Rezumat

Community needs and problems are often much greater than local financial resources, so in recent years, more and more NGOs and local public authorities have used this tool to address community problems / needs. A few years ago, little was known about fundraising campaigns in the Republic of Moldova, and the words fundraising or crowdfunding were modern, sophisticated terms that few people understood. Being an innovative concept, crowdfunding initially caused skepticism, and the idea of raising money based on lists, from gate to gate, seemed irreplaceable. In recent years, however, things have changed rapidly, crowdfunding becoming a way to finance local development projects. Today, more and more often we see crowdfunding campaigns and people who donate and get involved in promoting crowdfunding campaigns. Thus, the term "crowdfunding" has been transformed from the unknown into an opportunity available to communities.
