Social status represents the position occupied by an individual in society. In this paper I will briefly describe the social position of women over time. From ancient times until now, women have always and to be on the same level as men, but they have not always succeeded in this fight. There were times when the woman was just a servant without rights and the opportunity to express herself, she was just a caretaker of the house and the children, and now she has reached top positions. This has led to major changes in society and in the family relationship, the role of women and men practically reversed nowadays, but the woman has been and will always remain tender, gentle and loving.
