The theoretical and practical aspects of the development of gastronomic tourism in the Republic of Moldova were analysed in the present paper. In this context, the elements of gastronomic tourism development, the development factors, as well as the main problems in the development of gastronomic tourism were examined. This type of tourism, being a new one for the economy of the Republic of Moldova, has been remarkable as an attractive tourism for the tourists who come to visit our country. Therefore, through the gastronomic tourism, other forms of tourism are developing in Moldova, which arestill growing and which register an increased demand such as: wine tourism, rural tourism, agrotourism. The methodology used in this paper focused on the following methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, comparative analysis.For these reasons, we can conclude that gastronomic tourism is a perspective tourism, which, in the next 5-10 years, will gain new dimensions within the tourism domainof the Moldovan economy. |
