The article deals with the issue of the conservation-restoration of the Epimanikon, a liturgical textile item originating from the crypt of Metropolitan Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni. The discovery of the remains of Metropolitan Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni's liturgical vestments at Căpriana Monastery, in 2016, raised specific problems as regards the conservation, research, restoration and turning to account of cultural heritage items with particular cultural and historical value. Out of all the constituent textile objects of the liturgical vestments, the left hand Epimanikon was in a severe degree of degradation. The results provided by the investigations on the nature of the constituent materials, types and nature of degradations, constituted the premises for establishing the stages of the conservation-restoration process. A support was designed for the textile item saved by conservation-restoration, in order to be turned to account in the museum, for the present and future generations.

Articolul prezintă problematica conservării-restaurării piesei textile liturgice – Mânecuță, provenită din cripta mitropolitului Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni. Descoperirea în anul 2016, la Mănăstirea Căpriana, a vestigiilor veșmintelor liturgice ale mitropolitului Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni, a ridicat probleme de cercetare, conservare, restaurare și valorificare muzeală a unor bunuri de patrimoniu cultural de o valoare cultural-istorică deosebită. Dintre piesele textile componente ale veșmintelor liturgice, Mânecuța aferentă mâinii stângi, prezenta un grad accentuat de degradare. Rezultatele investigațiilor efectuate cu privire la natura materialelor componente, a tipurilor și a naturii degradărilor, au constituit premizele stabilirii etapelor procesului de conservare-restaurare. Pentru piesa textilă salvată prin conservare-restaurare a fost proiectat, special, un suport în vederea valorificării muzeale pentru generațiile prezente și viitoare.

В статье представлена проблема консервации-реставрации литургического текстильного изделия - Поручи из склепа митрополита Гавриила Бэнулеску-Бодони. Обнаружение в 2016 году в монастыре Кэприана остатков литургических облачений митрополита Гавриила Бэнулеску-Бодони поставило вопросы исследования, консервации, реставрации и музейной оценки объектов культурного наследия, представляющих особую культурно-историческую ценность. Среди текстильных деталей, которые входят в литургические облачения, левые поручи, показал повышенную степень деградации. Результаты исследований, проведенных в отношении природы компонентов, типов и характера деградации, послужили основанием для установления этапов консервационно-восстановительного процесса. Для текстильного изделия, сохраненного путем консервации-реставрации, была специально разработана, в частности, поддержка музейных ценностей нынешних и будущих поколений.
