In this article is present information about changes in species composition of soil algae, after stored the samples of the soil in laboratory conditions. After 20 years of storage in moist soil samples germinated fi rst of all the nitrogenfi xing blue green algae’s from genus   Nostoc, Anabaena and  Cylindrospermum. Among the most hardly species can also be called the species from genus Lyngbya, Schizothrix and  Microcoleus for which is characteristically mucous membrane. Less resistant became hydrophilic amphibians from diatoms. It also founded that the hardly  degree of the same species depends of the environmental conditions original habitat.
