In this study the author tries to analyze the situation in Moldova’s educational system and comes up with some opinions and suggestions on the ways to overcome the current situation. Education is one of priority directions of the social development of the society. We look at education in the context of the real situation of national economy and beyond. The educational system is a complex system to be treated as such, taking into account several factors: social, economic, financial, demographic, political, etc. But do not forget the way the actors involved in this ongoing process: children (students, teachers), parents and teachers. However, we must decide what we want to construct from the belief that the best investment is investment in human capital, so consider that when we provide financial resources from abroad must not become “prisoners of international organizations,” but to invest according to national priorities, in this case in education.
