Nowadays the impact technology has on learners cannot be overlooked. Hence, the language educators should think of viable ways of integrating technology into the process of language education which will enable learners become competent users of English. In addition, the whole process should be designed to engage and motivate learners so that they are able to take responsibility for their own learning. The article examines various possibilities a language educator could consider while designing a technology enhanced language classroom. In particular, it offers some suggestions concerning the use of social media and blogging in the education process, as well as the possibility of flipping the language classroom.
