This article discusses the problems of reforming the system of public administration in Ukraine, in particular, the formation of the profile of the professional competence of public officials in the context of the State Office of Ukraine's integration into the European administrative space. In this context, we discuss the use of mediation techniques as necessary skills and effective communication tool in a public servant. Conflictological (communicative) competence of civil servants, in our opinion, will provide effective regulation of conflicts, broadcast social and cultural values in communication with a mass destination.
