The control of uncertain chaotic system by fuzzy modeling is very crucial issue in many communication systems. The idea behind of this research is to propose the integration of fuzzy logic and chaos system. More specifically, the stabilization of Lorentz chaotic systems can be done by using fuzzy logic controller. In other words, the stability analysis of the fuzzy control system is performed using Barbashin-Krasovskii theorem. The paper suggests a Mamdani fuzzy logic controller (FLC) designed to stabilize the Lorentz chaotic systems. This paper proves that if the derivative of Lyapunov function is negative semi-definite for each fuzzy rule then the controlled Lorentz system is asymptotically stable in the sense of Lya-punov. Research findings include a comparison between Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model used to model the chaotic dynamic system and Mamdani fuzzy logic system. The stability theorem suggested here offers sufficient conditions for the sta-bility of the Lorenz system controlled by Mamdani FLCs. An illustrative example describes the application of the new stability analysis method. |
