In the work are presented the results of the study concerning the capacities of development and reproduction of imported boars of the breed of maternal form Landrace and Yorkshire in interracial and between breeds crosses. As a result of the research, new results were obtained concerning the development capacities in new conditions of imported boars, the reproductive qualities in various combinations of breeds. It is noted that until the age of 12 months the animals show a slower development, which is alleviated in the following periods, when the boars of Landrace breed at the age of 36 months reached an average body weight of 368.3 kg, higher than the minimum requirements for the elite class (300 kg) or with 22.7% and those of the Yorkshire breed corresponding 362 kg, with 20.6%. The average length of the trunk was at the level of the minimum requirements for the elite class. In interracial and between breeds crosses, were obtained distinct reproductive results with the average number of piglets received totally on average at a farrowing 10.37 at the Landrace breed and 11.05 at the Yorkshire breed, including alive at the breed Landrace - 9.96 heads, corresponding to the breed Yorkshire 10,63 heads. Average number of piglets at weaning at the Landrace breed - 9.01 heads at  the Yorkshire breed - 9.33 heads. Average weight of the lot at weaning at the Landrace breed - 74.73 kg at the Yorkshire breed - 79.71 kg. The average weigh of the first pig at weaning at the Landrace breed - 8.3 kg at the Yorkshire breed - 8.47 kg. Viability at the Landrace breed - 90.5% at the Yorkshire breed - 87.8%. The conducted studies allow for the creation of the nucleus of the selection of the most productive interracial combinations, recommended for the use of Landrace and Yorkshire imported boars in between breeds crosses with sows of local selection for the obtaining of biracial young sows of maternal form.
