The research is aimed at the creation in the nurseries of the dusting of folded hybrid populations using the best samples of the initial material. At the same time, the parameters of the adaptive potential of all the sown samples were determined by calculating the coefficient of negative impact of unfavorable climatic conditions during the summer sowing, taking into account the development of the root system during the initial stages of organogenesis, winter hardiness, seed yield and green mass. In order to select the best complex hybrid populations, the degree of manifestation of the main economically valuable traits was determined. The sampling of the source material in accordance with the new criteria conducted in previous years made it possible to significantly improve the adaptive potential of the new complex hybrid populations. In 2017, two new hybrid populations were planted in polycross nurseries.
